The jacket includes a brimmed, three-panel hood with elastic at the sides for a secure fit; a snap-front placket that protects from the elements with a hook-and-loop closure at the collar opening; and dropped-shoulder seams that allow for easy layering and a comfortable fit. It also has two front patch pockets with hook-and-loop closures, webbing tabs for easy access, and dual side entry, while elastic cuffs and a drop-tail hem provide extra protection.
