A full length sizing die is designed to resize the entire cartridge case, not just the neck. Unlike neck-sizing dies, which only adjust the neck portion, full length sizing dies provide greater versatility and can be used with any rifle chambered for the same cartridge. When a cartridge is fired, the brass case expands to fit the rifle's chamber.
