Geissele 5.56x45mm/.223 Cal Super Reaction Rod

The super reaction rod is engineered for advanced armorers who frequently handle 5.56x45mm/.223 Cal firearms with over-torqued, seized or Loctite-applied barrel nuts. It operates by pre-loading the barrel nut extension onto the lugs of the super reaction rod, thereby eliminating any movement before applying torque to the barrel nut, while simultaneously securing the upper receiver in place. By mating the barrel nut extension to the Super Reaction Rod lugs and securing the upper receiver prior to torque application, any potential stress on the index pin is mitigated. This design enables the armorer to apply significant torque to the barrel nut. Additionally, the pre-loading system of the Super Reaction Rod can be removed, allowing it to function as a standard reaction rod, which facilitates 360 degree work on the upper receiver both vertically and horizontally.
